Charles Evans has been an urban mixed-use developer for thirty-eight years and was heavily involved in the creation of The Pavilion at the Old Post Office on Pennsylvania Avenue between the White House and the Capitol and The Arcade in Providence, Rhode Island, two cutting-edge urban retail developments. The former Assistant Secretary of Maryland’s Department of Natural Resources, a senior member of Governor Bob Ehrlich’s campaign
team and his Policy Director, and a board member of several environmental oriented NGOs, Evans helped developed and manage some of the most successful environmental legislation and Bay programs that focus on the health of the Chesapeake Bay. Now a full-time writer of fiction dealing with the Bay, terrorism in America, and other like-kind thrillers, he is working on a sequel to Terror on the Bay as well as a novel on the behind-the-scenes machinations of a major political campaign. Evans currently lives on the Eastern Shore of Maryland with the family hunting dog, a Chesapeake Bay Retriever, named Tucker.
